Former President Trump's legal team has filed an appeal of the ruling by Maine's Secretary of State,

which bars Trump from the presidential ballot over his role in January 6

2021 attack on the US capital. An appeal on another state's ruling is expected.

Basically what you've got here is Maine's Democratic Secretary of State ruled

therefore that appeal is to the main Supreme Court the Colorado decision that

came from Colorado Supreme Court so we're still waiting for the Trump team to appeal to the U.S. Supreme

Court when it comes to Colorado.

Federal prosecutors are now accusing New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez of accepting bribes and using his influence

to help a businessman get a deal with a katari investment fund. The indictment

says the investor then negotiated a multi-million dollar investment in a real estate project planned by one of three

businessmen already charged in the bribery indictment against Menendez and his wife.

They've all pled not guilty.

No new charges have been filed against Benendets.
