Ezekiel chapter 33, verses 7 through 9.

So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the House of Israel.

Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.

If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die,

and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his

iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way,

and he does not turn from his way,

that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul. I'm almost speechless just reading this. I let it soak in what God just said. He said to Ezekiel, you're a watchman. You have a

responsibility. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, to speak it and specifically to give

people warning, when I give you a word of warning, it's not just for you to hear.

It's for you to speak. And then he goes on to say, if I give you warning about wickedness and you

don't speak that word to warn the wicked to turn from his way, then that wicked person will die in their sin, but his blood

I will require at your hand. God's saying you are responsible for people hearing this message.

It goes on to say in verse 9, if you do speak this word and they hear it, but they don't turn from their way,

then they will die in their iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul. You have a

responsibility, Ezekiel, and it's not just Ezekiel. We turn the pages of the New Testament.

This is every single person who has the spirit of God in us and has the word of God

before us. We have His word. And Ezekiel 33 verse 7 rings true for us. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth,

you shall give them warning from me. I want to ask you just very specifically,

who are you warning right now about sin and God's coming judgment and their need to turn from sin and to trust in Jesus to save them from their sin.

Who are you speaking that word to right now in your life?
