I would like to talk to you today about noticing the signs.

What do I mean by that?

Now, let me tell you this only on a few occasions in life will the universe will God

give you a big blaring sign, right? Like a siren, like listen up, often that's in the form of a bad health report or a relationship breakdown or a job loss, right? These big signs, sometimes they feel like they come out of

nowhere and we're like, okay, I need to pay attention. Something has to change or

something has to expand or there is a new and better way. In life we do have those moments of,

okay, I've got to deal with this, it's urgent, maybe it once was a whisper. Now it's blaringly loud and I have to deal with this.

I have to pay attention. I have to take action here.

But my friend, life is full of very many subtle signs, ones that we want, ones that we maybe don't want, but when we pay attention to them, we become powerful. For example, I was playing

LEGO with my nephew a few years ago and oh my gosh why do people like LEGO

by that is hard it's so many steps I mean you need patience you need focus anyway I digress but we were building this this

like a little fortressy thing together and I was I like to do things pretty quickly

right my pace and life is generally quite swift and as I was moving ahead

You know pressing down the Legos building this fortressy thing

Turns out that when I got to a certain step,

I actually placed the wrong piece on a part of the fortress,

which meant essentially I was effed and I had to go back if I wanted to continue.

I mean I wanted to throw my hands in the air but I promised that I would build this fortress, okay?

My nephew who was, oh my gosh, single digits at the time, very young, maybe seven, eight, he said,

Aunt Susie, if you rush, you do it wrong, then you have to go back and do it all again.
