What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast, brought to by the Blue R podcast Network. I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And yesterday, the Lakers added to their stack of embarrassing losses with a loss at Houston. And Dee, we've been talking a lot about belief lately and the idea of like, kind of what's the point of the rest of this season?

And it's sort of the idea of the lack of belief.

I kind of want to talk about it from the flip side of that point in that I think this

team throughout much of this season has had too much belief, too much belief in its ability to flip

the switch. And last night was one of those games. There have been a lot of games. And we've

seen a lot of arrogant Lakers teams over the years, several of which ended up going on to win NBA

titles. And throughout many of those 82 game seasons, there have been plenty of game against

a lesser opponent where they've been down by 10 because they haven't taken the game or their

opponent seriously enough.

And then they've rallied back.

Last season before all of the injuries hit, there was a pretty humorous stretch where,

and this is when Mark was still starting, AD hadn't gotten hurt yet, where we'd go down by a ton

to begin the game, and it would be an increasing amount to the point where there was a game
