And now, though, we are here since we wanted to get a show in. We had to work this morning, but we are here in the backyard in pergolatory. We're in the nibble. Yeah, whatever. It's not, stop trying to make. I like purgolatory, but you know, you've tried so long to make that work, and it's just stop trying to make percolatory happen, Gretchen.

so sorry if the audio is not totally perfect, but nonetheless, we are here and, you know, we'll a less we can anyway yes friday evening show i know i'm excited it's been a while since we've done one of these yeah well i mean not you yeah yeah because i was working last week you were you were you were you were working with all your scooter folks i was yeah i'm coming up with all these you know because last week you know i'd learned that scooter people were fun and like maybe I'm, maybe I could be a scooter kind of person. then today so basically long story short my uncle and aunt live in Vancouver

and my uncle's having a medical procedure done so he's in a up in Vancouver at the, so he went and visited them and hung out with them for a couple hours. But then on my way back, you know, on, you know, going through Vancouver, like it's really close to North Portland. And so I wanted to look and see if there were any, you know, places that I wanted to look at because I've been doing... Houses, yeah, for your real estate. Yes, because I'm a real estate agent, so in case you don't know, and you're just like,

I want to buy something or sell something. Think of me. I'm really good at my job. She is. She is very good at her job. But one of those things that I've been doing to utilize that is going to places that I find really interesting or spooky or cool and then going to take a look at them like a few of

i've done a few of them. I've done like, last week I did like a $1.7 million mansion. I've done the super haunted house, all sorts of things. Yeah, so it's really neat. I also, you know, make sure that I'm not inconvenience anyway. So just so you know for my, for the record, my rule is like it's only if it's vacant, only if it's not inconveniencing anybody, that's when I'll go in. But also it gives them, you know, more. Yeah, for sure. People can watch these on your Instagram. Yes. So I was looking at all the places last night when I knew I was going to be going out to Vancouver and like anywhere between Vancouver and like southeast Portland and I was thinking like

okay where can I go? So I started looking through hundreds and hundreds of, you know, listings. And a bunch of them popped up as houseboats, or I guess floating homes. That's what they're called floating homes. This was on Hayden Island? Yeah, so this was yes so this is on Hayden Island so which is Jansen Beach I always get confused

it's just beach is on Hayden Island I think so yes because it said Jansen but it said

you know entering Hayden Island and then the island is Hayden and part of it on

there is Jansen Beach perhaps yeah yeah it was right I can't pretend to. But I did say when I was going into, so it's like a gated community thing. Oh, wow. Yeah, it was super fancy. So, yeah, so went and visited my uncle and then left there and went down to where the floating homes are. And I've never-

For anybody doesn't know to the area, it's on the Columbia River. So they're floating homes on the Columbia River and this island that's on the Oregon side, in between Oregon and Washington. Yes, so it's right, it's, yeah, right smack-dab between, right next to the I-5 bridge. And I'd never been there. Like, I've seen them from the bridge, but not really, like you can't really see him.
