Summary
Most guys don’t feel broke because they don’t make enough money…
They feel broke because everything feels out of control.
In this episode, I sit down with George Kamel to talk about something we don’t address enough as men:
👉 the connection between your money… and your peace
We talk about:
- why so many men feel financially overwhelmed (even with good income)
- how money stress is quietly affecting your marriage and leadership
- the trap of thinking “I just need to make more”
- how to actually get control of your finances (practically, not theoretically)
- and why financial peace is a discipleship issue, not just a math problem
If you’ve ever felt behind, stressed, or unsure where your money is going…
this one’s for you.

There's not much you can do to, like, interact, you know? I think dads want to, like, they want activity. You feel like they're doing something? Dude, I wrote a whole chapter on this in a book because moms, especially if a mom is breastfeeding, but moms naturally are, like, so intuitive with a baby. But if they're breastfeeding, it's like, it's, you know, it's, you know, they're, they're like literally connected. They've carried the baby and then they're connected. And I've already been bonding for nine months. Exactly. It's like unfair advantage, mom. Yep. And I remember when my son, our son was our first. I have four now, but our son was our first. And I felt kind of guilty because I was like, why do I feel like I don't love him or like connect with him the way that she is? And then I remember, dude, he was like, whatever age it was where he could sit up, like he was sitting normal, like he wouldn't fall over, know like a drunk uh drunk man but he was sitting |

| 2:46.4 | spin you exactly roll the ball race some cars i saw that you the, did I hear that you had like pet issues? Somebody made a joke recently about you having pet issues. Oh, yeah. I mean, David Rage is right here. Jokes about me on air. Really? I've got two French bulldogs, and I know, like, animals are not kids, but the level of work they are for us now that we have, one of them |

| 3:19.8 | months now of recovery. And it's just like, it's a little better every month but it's still so challenging |
| 3:27.2 | and so much effort and work just constantly like what does he need to do right when you clean this |
| 3:32.7 | up oh he made a mess over here and so that's been taking a toll on us as much as you know the infant |
| 3:38.8 | toddler it is crazy my dog the other day came in the reason The reason I brought it up because she's like laying on the floor over here and she just like came in. She's got like a wound, bro. Like she just got attacked by a wolf. Like I'm like, wait, wait. We live in like the suburb. I'm like, what did you do out there?
