The NASCAR circus continues on down the road, journeying from the high banks of Bristol to the lightning fast precision of Kansas. Motorsports reporter Jeff Gluck takes a comprehensive look at everything happening in motorsports on this week's episode of the Gluckcast. Jeff also welcomes the legendary Kyle Petty to the show to talk about his upcoming Charity Ride Across America and the family dynamics of NASCAR. Fellow motorsports reporter Matt Weaver joins the show to give listeners a look at the recent CARS Tour event at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds, as well as what the future might have in store for the track. And, you know, sometimes I like to tell you guys some personal stories here since

So 2006, he starts out and he's doing like a part-time Bush schedule again for this like backmarker

1:45.8

team finishes 39th, 29th, 33rd, 30th. But we're doing stories every week still covering him. Then something

1:53.0

crazy happens. Fifth race that this guy's in that year. Same back marker team. I'm watching Kentucky

1:58.2

Speedway, the race from my rented townhouse in California.

2:03.1

And I'm watching this. And like the guy wins the race out of nowhere, one of the biggest

2:08.7

upsets in NASCAR history. Like I can't even tell you how surreal this was. It was like the only
