Summary

For a while it seemed like another Kyle Larson Bristol beatdown, but late race calamity changed things in a hurry. Ty Gibbs was able to break through for his first NASCAR Cup Series victory at the Last Great Colosseum. Our resident NASCAR reporters Jeff Gluck and Jordan Bianchi were on the case and took to the airwaves after the race to discuss the meaning of Ty's first victory, Toyota's continued dominance and Hendrick Motorsports struggles.

leads. That's what it looked like. And it looked like that could have cost Ty Gibbs everything,

but Ty Gibbs kept his composure. He earned it. He won it straight up, deserved to win today, and did everything you're supposed to do. So he is now a Cup Series race winner. Jordan, what do you make of that? Unflappable in the closing laps. Would it be really easy to overdrive, make a mistake. You've got Ryan Blaney there. There's Kyle Larson's in the mix. They have fresher tires.
