because Ty Gibbs is now won his first career NASCAR Cup Series race

131st start, a little bit longer than people anticipated, but something that we felt was, you

know, on its way, certainly. You could see it. I think this is a sixth straight, top six finish in a row.

He's moved all the way up to fourth in points, and he was getting to probably his best

track in a place where he already led 200 laps last summer, a place where he's very comfortable,

a place where even, you know, earlier in his career when he wasn't

competitive as competitive on a bunch of other tracks, he was still good at Bristol and he's

able to put it all together today and not just that, Jordan, but hold off Ryan Blaney

on fresher tires in overtime lining up on a restart after former Joe Gibbs racing driver Kyle Bush had brought

out a caution and retaliating against Riley Herbst from an earlier incident in the race

leads. That's what it looked like. And it looked like that could have cost Ty Gibbs everything,

but Ty Gibbs kept his composure. He earned it. He won it straight up, deserved to win today, and did everything you're supposed to do. So he is now a Cup Series race winner. Jordan, what do you make of that? Unflappable in the closing laps. Would it be really easy to overdrive, make a mistake. You've got Ryan Blaney there. There's Kyle Larson's in the mix. They have fresher tires.
