Hello, we TKUKUKUKUKUKUKUKMITI, today we are going to teach you how to create an eye-catching

0:03.8

window display that is going to draw customers into your store to shop. I'm Joelle, and I'm half of J.R. Visual Design, your retail design and visual merchandising experts for the Petit Coup community. So we always say that a good window display is like your store's handshake because it really is that first point of contact with your customers. So it's your first opportunity to make a

0:22.0

first impression and it's a first opportunity to communicate to them who you are as a brand,

0:25.8

which will entice them to explore more with you. So when you have a beautiful window display,

0:30.6

it is a free marketing, silent selling tool that not many people implement. And so when you do

0:35.6

implement it, you also are setting your store

0:37.6

apart from the rest of the competition, leading you to become that store. Another few advantages

0:42.7

of window displays are, of course, you can market the new seasons that you're going into, the new

0:46.7

arrivals that you have. You can get foot traffic into your store and get this. You also can get

0:52.2

foot traffic onto your online store. So your window display is

0:55.6

24-7 free marketing, even when you are closed and people are walking by your store and they see

1:01.1

your amazing display and they see your amazing product and you have your online store tagged.

1:05.6

Not only are you getting foot traffic into your store if you're open, but if you're closed,

1:09.1

you're getting foot traffic into your website. So it really is just an amazing marketing strategy all throughout. And so we really are

1:17.5

excited to tell you how you can implement this into your space. So the first step is to pick a theme for

1:22.0

your window. Now, this is super, super fun and you can gather inspiration from so many places,

1:26.4

Pinterest, walking them all, Instagram, things that have stood out to you that you really want to base the window off of, things like that. And the next slide, we're going to show you some inspiration that we think you could have in your store if you're kind of struggling, finding the inspiration. We thought all these were super cute and would work in many, many windows. So yeah, screech on on the next page save it whatever you want to do

1:45.2

and use that as inspiration heading into your new window so the next thing you're going to do now that you

1:54.6

have your theme is start to gather props and decor um so this is really great because you have your

1:59.1

theme already so you're just going to pick

2:00.9

props and decors that helps storytell this to your customer. So going back to the streets of Paris

2:05.3

theme, we added the bistro sets and the street lights and the flower card. And it was very obvious that
