We are talking today about the topic of new nutrition labels and tips to avoid label and package trickery because it's almost Halloween and there's lots of tricks and treats out there and we want to watch out. I like how you're building the suspense. Well, you know, sometimes we don't mention the topic for a while. That's true. And so I thought I'd throw it in there at the beginning. So yes, we are going to talk about healthy things today. And that's what it's going to be before we start talking about randomness that is sure to come.

But yeah, we think we're like being like ultra sneaky. you like surprise here it is we're going to flip it on you and that's not going to be the topic no

entrepreneur and chef and clean eating cookbook extraordinaire writer did you say writer lady

1:25.6

writer lady can you put that in your next cookbook written by writer lady? I am. Emily Purcella. Yeah. All right. So anything new since last time we talked? I have like a not not not anything new. I feel like I'm busy and I haven't really read. What? How'd you do with those donies? I was like eating donuts all weekend from our last episode. We shared. We shared. So we only had a little bit and that was then we shared. Yeah. No, I don't really have anything new because like I said, I haven't really had a chance to really look around a lot of stuff this last week. I just some busy. But I have a little like baby rant. Okay. Okay. So baby rant. Are you timing yourself? You just look at her watch. I am. I'm giving myself two minutes. Two minutes. No. Actually I thought it's like the full size rant. Five minutes? It could be endless. Okay. Baby. No. I was thinking, no speaking. No, I thought my watch vibrated anybody that has like an apple watch

anyway back to my bitch fest okay it's about tipping so okay Okay. So I am really busy today and tomorrow. And Andy is out of town right now. So I don't really cook for myself when he's gone because I feel like I don't want to heat my kitchen up. You know, like whatever. I just, I eat like literally protein bars, protein shakes. I just like live off that stuff all he's gone. But was like you know what I want a really good salad tonight so I get this um I don't know some spicy Thai chicken salad from Panera uh huh so I ordered two of those so I could have one for the next two days until he's home and I usually don't ever talk about when he's not here but this is going to air after he's already already home, so that's okay. So anyway, I was like, oh, you know what? I'm going to go to Panera and just get this salad, get it. I'll have it dinner done. It'd be great. It'll be good and filling and whatever, whatever. So I got on their rapid order pickup, which if you haven't used, I don't eat Panera a lot, but every once in a while it's like a nice little like gimme you know yeah so on the rapid order

3:27.2

pickup i do it and it says like tip and it gives you an option for tip so this is all about tipping okay wait when you rapid order pick up like you don't even talk to a person right no you literally i don't even care my person or anything you just like literally get out of your car You walk in and your bag is sitting on a shelf with your name on it.

3:42.2

You just take the bag and leave.

3:43.1

Like you don't talk to anybody.

3:44.2

You walk in, get your stuff and leave, which is why I like it.

3:46.4

Yeah.

3:58.4

Because it's literally like they have special parking spots for it. You walk and grab it and go. Like that's it. It's awesome. so anyway it says you know space for the tip and I'm like it brought something back up with me that I, like, have a sore, sore mind about, I guess you could say. Because, like, when I was growing up and maybe this is all changed and I'm just in the dark about it. But you would tip someone after service is rendered. And I'm not just saying, yeah, because that's a rapid order. You don't talk to anybody.

4:49.2

But, like, I had gotten some catering done out of town. And they sent me the invoice. Like, it was like two or three weeks before the event because you had to pay for it, you know, obviously because they're ordering all the food and all that's of the jazz. And there's a spot for a tip on the invoice that they sent me on the computer. And I put zero tip because I'm always the one that you tip after. You tip for like what is it? Like the person that sets it up or the people that are there helping with it. Right. Because you don't know like are they going to do a good job. What is it? Hang on. What is it called? What is like what's tip stand for? It's like service service to ensure to ensure prompt service that's to ensure prompt service well your service has not been rendered yet so why am i pre-tipping you
