The first question that came in from one of our listeners is, what is the best way to motivate yourself?

Or I guess how we're going to answer it, how do we go about motivating ourselves?

So motivation's tough and I don't purport to have any expertise on this. Like I've never read the motivation literature, but I am a person who has at times needed to become motivated.

And what has always worked for me is, this is kind of a cop out, but just trying to limit how much effortful motivation I really have to conjure up.

So, you know, I think we're pretty lucky, given that most of the tasks we have to do are things that interest us and things that we believe should be done.
