host for today, Eric Trexler hosts. I have occasionally been a guest host on said podcast. It's called the Stronger by Science Podcast and there is a good news segment that we've used at the start of several of our well several of his recent

Stronger by Science Podcasts and as I understand it there is an update to one of the prior bits of good news that you shared with the audience.

Absolutely I like to think of myself as a journalist first and a scientist second and a fitness professional third.

So as a journalist I wanted to make sure we provided an update here.

And one of our listeners actually sent me this update which is pretty cool.

So a while ago I mentioned that a young woman named

Eleanor Lelou I think that's the the correct pronunciation. She was running for a position in the

municipal government in a town in northern France.

And she has Down syndrome, and one of the reasons she wanted to run

was to make sure that someone in the government there was advocating for people with a variety of disabilities.

And the good news update is that she got elected, which is pretty sweet. So she's now on the municipal council there and by all accounts doing a

terrific job. Hell yeah that is good to hear. All right so if you haven't

listened to a fireside chat before, these are kind of like off-topic

Q&A type discussions.

So anything is fair game other than fitness questions.
