But first, before we do that, we have an icebreaker for makers to start us off. So the question for

today, Haley, is what's a sewing fail that you learned something important from? Oh, gosh.

Okay. Well, I've been sewing for a long time and I sew a lot, so I fail a lot,

but one that really stands out to me as being like very pivotal. And my sewing journey was I took

a tailoring class when I was in college and I decided that I wanted to make a tie to go with the suit that I made.

And so I went to a thrift store and I picked apart a tie and made a pattern from it.

And I was like looking inside the tie and there was all this interfacing and stuff.

And I was like, I'm making like a skinnier tie though.

Like I don't need that.

And so I skipped all of like the sew and interfacing and stuff that you need in a tie.

And a tie is cut on the bias.
