Today we're sharing part two in this two-part series that we're doing about finding the why behind your sewing.

So if you haven't listened to part one from last week, go back

and have a listen to that one first. In that episode, we talked about how to find your why and

kind of explore what the purpose is behind your sewing. And today we're going to cover using

that why, using the why behind your sewing to actually choose projects that feel personally

meaningful to you. So today we're going to start with another icebreaker for makers.

So our icebreaker today question is, are there any types of projects you will not sew because

they just don't light you up? Are there any projects you will not sew, H just don't light you up. Are there any projects you will

not sew, Haley? This is so easy. I will not sew other people's alterations or most of the

time won't make things for them. But no, I will not hem your pants. Absolutely not. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like alterations are one of those

things I can't even be bothered to do for myself. Yeah. So why would I do it for someone else?

Only do it out of like necessity and like practicality. And it's always like as much as I wish I loved that practice a little bit more, it doesn't do a whole lot for me.

So I absolutely will not hem your jeans or take in your dress or replace the zipper.
