Hello and welcome back to practicing human, the podcast where every day we're getting a little better at life.

0:06.5

I'm your host, Corey Miscara, and in today's episode we're going to talk about building your life from wholeness.

0:13.8

More to come on that in a moment. First, let's settle in together with the sound of the bells.

0:34.4

Okay. So the reason many of us don't build a life from wholeness or from alignment is because we don't have a reference point for what that feels like internally.

0:50.3

That is, what is the resonance that is serving as the backboard from which we are

0:59.2

making decisions and taking action? It's one of the interesting things that will start to

1:07.8

develop with a meditation practice, especially when you are doing heart-opening practice,

1:16.9

2:40.7

placing pattern doesn't actually feel good, how it pulls you out of that place. It requires you to

2:48.5

go up into your mind or to disconnect from yourself. You can see how

2:55.3

doing something like lying or manipulating another person also has a particular resonance to it

3:03.7

that will disconnect you from this place. And that starts to feel really icky and might even

3:11.6

trigger like a disgust response. And so there's a natural repulsion to certain behaviors,

3:21.0

actions, patterns, and even cravings that starts to develop, as well as a natural magnetism

3:30.0

that emerges pulling you deeper and deeper into this place that feels most you, this warm blanket of true self, of an open heart. And it's just so clear
