Got a good one today. He's a friend and he's a former governor.

I'm excited to welcome my fellow Marylander to the podcast, Larry Hogan,

the former governor of Maryland.

He governed from 2014 to 2023 and has become only the second Republican

governor elected in Maryland in the last 50 years.

He had a great legacy that he's left behind.

We'll talk about that.

We'll get into his decision to run or not to run for the presidency.

And he had some views about the party and where it's going to go and why he's still in it.

So really looking forward to this.

I think you will enjoy it.

His accomplishments include not just cutting taxes over the last eight years and doing the things like investing in education and all of that,

but also sort of setting a role model for how you govern in difficult times, how you governed when you are in front of a formidable opposition and still get good things done.

I think it led to his 70% job approval on the day he left office.
