Welcome back, I'm Rebecca. And I'm Gabe and it's great to be with you this week. It's a

big week for our family so thanks for going on this journey with us but taking our son Pierce

to college. Yes, it's da da da, it's here. It's calm so quick. All summer we were like we've got

10 weeks, nine weeks, eight weeks, oh wait, two weeks. It kind of just hit me this weekend. I mean a

flood of emotion around this. I'm pretty steely like, you know, we've talked about this. I like that

work. But you know, I don't always feel my feelings. So I've been working on that. Well, good night.

I want to go backwards now because I can't stop feeling my feelings right now. I know it's really

actually so sweet and precious to watch because I feel like I felt my feelings all year starting

in January on his 18th birthday. There were several ugly cries. And then Gabe had his ugly cry

this weekend, which is awesome because I do think if we don't feel these things and let them rise

when they need to, we can just gloss over it and not really honor the value that Pierce has brought

to our home, our family. And so we just keep, I went through his memory boxes weekend. I like

looked at all his, his artwork, his notes, he would write us or write Kennedy or Kade. Oh my

goodness. And he is the truly, I mean, I know everybody loves our kids. He's just so sweet like

such a kind, generous, faithful brother and son. And it was fun to just get to tell him some of

those things to just make mark the moment and honor him. And that's the thing I learned from the

books I read on feeling my feelings, you know, the feeling of sadness is about honoring something

...
