0:48.3 | started out wanting to be a general reporter journalist and was talked into doing financial news by my father, who was a |

1:01.9 | but we compromised. He agreed to support my endeavors as long as I did some internships in financial |
1:07.5 | news. So I did some internships in financial news, got very interested in it actually |
1:12.2 | because the journalists there were absolutely terrific at CNN. And I learned how much I didn't know |
1:17.6 | and how much I wanted to know and started taking a bunch of classes. I took classes on the Fed. |
1:22.2 | I took classes on technical analysis of stocks and all the super nerdy things that you can imagine. |
1:27.9 | Long story short, when I graduated, I did go to work at CNBC as a production assistant. |
