And ever the superstitions, the ghost stories were catching up with Dicabond.

Crossing a bridge over a stream on his old horse, he felt a looming presence and looked up to see a large figure nearby.

It was too dark to see much aside from a person on horseback.

He kicked the horse into motion and the figure followed alongside him.

He tried to speed up to get away, but the mystery ride-out matched his pace.
