Hello and welcome to the sleepy book shelf where we put down our worries from the day and pick up a good book.

In our last episode we read the final pages of the Book of Dragons.

I was really surprised how much I enjoyed this book. The style of writing felt very witty and self-aware at times,

mixed with the old style fairy tale genre. I hope you liked it too. In case you fell asleep before we finished this is a

recap of the last episode, but be warned this is your spoiler alert.

If you haven't listened to it yet and you don't want to know how it ends,

stop this episode now for the rest of you I'll continue an inquisitive

boy named Edmund who always bunked off school in order to spend his time finding things out for himself,

lived in a town near a mountain. People were afraid of the mountain because of the

sounds that came out of it. Edmund went there one day and heard three separate noises,

two rumbling sounds, and one clucking noise.

He found the home of a strange creature

named a cockatrous,

part man, part griffin, part cockron.

He was sad because he had to let his fire go out, so Edmund helped him set a new one.

In return, the coquatrist told Edmund all sorts of stories you'd never hear in school.

When Edmund explored the other sounds, he found a front door.

The door flung open and an enormous yellow dragon crawled out of it.

Edmund raced back to the town to warn people, but no one believed him he ran back to ask the cockatrous for

help but turned around just in time to see the dragon open its jaws and swallow the town whole,

before curling up to take a nap.

The Cockatris calmly told Edmund to find the dragon's baby, the drackling.
