Hello, Ghost Family. It has been a long time and I hope that this little bonus

episode finds all of you very well indeed. First, I want to give you a little bit of

an update on my life which is that though

family ghosts remains on hiatus I do not I have just taken a job as a reporter and co-host at KJZZ 91.5 FM in Phoenix, Arizona.

And today was literally my first day of work.

I'm so excited.

And I wanted to say that if you're interested, starting probably towards the end of next week, I am going to be telling stories live on the air on a near daily basis in my capacity as a reporter and co-host at the show and I'm just thrilled about it and it's the kind of thing

that I always hoped that podcasting might lead to and now it has and what I want to say to

all of you is thank you because it's the kind of thing that couldn't happen

without the support of all of you who

listened to family ghosts over the years and I really do not take that lightly.

So thank you as always for being a part of the ghost family.

That's the first thing I want to tell you.

The second thing is that you are about to hear a little snippet of a brand new show by a friend of the ghost family,

a member of the ghost family. His name is Steve Fishman. And if you are a deep cut family ghosts fan, you may remember that Steve has technically been on the show before.

When we did a round of bonus episodes between seasons one and two of family ghosts.

We had Steve on the show to talk about a true crime

podcast that he did called Empire on Blood,

which was an unbelievable redemption story and featured some of the most raw family

tape that I have ever heard in a podcast still to this day and that show came out in I think 2017.

In short, Steve is a tremendous reporter, a tremendous investigator and he has this unbelievable ability to cultivate sources

that other journalists could never dream of getting to talk to them.
