Good morning everyone and welcome back to another mornings with the masters.

We devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

We are picking up with a new devotional on the Bible up titled The Upside Down Kingdom.

There's a link to that in the description if you guys want to

follow along and as always I'm going to read the scripture then I'm also going to

pick with a devo and a few quick qualifiers before I jump in I'm actually really

excited about this this devotional is definitely interesting in its format.

And so I'm going to do my best to read it in a way

that everyone listening can follow along

as there's like kind of different segments.

So definitely hang in there for that but I'll put it this

way I think the power of this one is worth maybe having a little bit more complication of it

and then number two something I'm just excited about it's the Beatitudes, which is scripture that I still wrestle with.

I, yeah, yeah, I'm trying to figure it out.

And so I think this is going to be enlightening to all of us, which is super exciting.

And the reason I mention that is, is because if you go read through a bunch of

different translations of Matthew 5 and the Beatitudes starting at verse 3, but if you don't skip up with verses 1 and 2,

which is but kind of like setting it up for Jesus to teach, the scripture says this,

one day he saw the crowds gathering.

Jesus went up on the mountain side and sat down.

His disciples gathered around him and he began to teach them.

But there's another translation who actually kind of... him and he began to teach them.
