Well, hello there. Welcome to this week's episode of Strong and Sculpted, the podcast by me,

And this week I wanted to talk to you about Thanksgiving and Christmas and the holiday season,

because as we all know, it's just around the corner. And it is a season where people tend to go

a little bit crazy and binge and eat and not stick to their goals and then suffer from

absolutely crippling guilt afterwards, which is one of the worst things that

you can ever suffer from.

And so I wanted to really talk about that this week and to give you some hints and some tips

and some strategies and really just to unpack guilt what it actually is, why we use it, is it even

useful?

And also to talk about, you know, what is good and what is bad in terms of your fitness

goals and how you can stay on track so that you don't completely fall off the wagon when all of that food is put in front of you.

And all you want to do is eat it and binge and feel like a big fat wheel.

So first of all, let me tell you a story about something that happened to me a couple of years ago whenever I was shopping in Belfast.

So it was about two years ago and I was bulking in a bulking season for my next show, which was

coming up in April the following year. And I went into a department store in Belfast to buy

some shoes for an event that was coming up. And I, because it was quite warm in the department

store and I was wearing, you know, different layers or whatever and I was trying on different

shoes, I had gotten quite warm. So I had peeled off a couple of layers. So I think that you could

possibly see my arms. I think I was wearing a t-shirt underneath. So it was evident that,

you know, obviously I was quite muscular and that I trained. So the girl who was serving me behind the counter said to me, she said, do you train? You know, you look amazing. Are you a PT?

And I said, no, I'm not a PT, but I am, you know, a bodybuilder. I do compete on stage. And she said,
