In a rather wild turn of events, which is sure to have massive repercussions leading

up to the 2024 presidential race, a federal court has just ruled that President Trump

is not immune from civil lawsuits which arise over what took place on January 6th.

Meaning, that besides all the lawsuits that President Trump is already facing, because

of this ruling, the door has now been flung wide open for civil lawsuits to be filed against

them, by well anyone who can make the argument that they were victimized on January 6th.

And so, in the coming year, you can look out for members of Congress, capital police officers,

and maybe even attendees of the rally to file lawsuits against President Trump.

Now, in terms of how we actually got to this point, let me back up and give you the back

story.

Shortly after January 6th, you had members of Congress, capital police officers, as well

as members of the DC Police Department, all file lawsuits against both President Trump,

as well as his general allies, making the argument that they bore responsibility for

the violence, and therefore, they should pay monetary damages.

On the flip side, President Trump and his legal team were making the argument that he

was covered under the presidential immunity doctrine.

That doctrine states that a president is free to carry out his duties without the threat

of civil damage liabilities.
