In Connecticut, police responded to an apartment complex after receiving reports of a woman

screaming.

They later found a woman and a young child, dead. We have new information regarding the case of Taylor Meyer, the man

accused of killing his wife on Valentine's Day. We first reported on this story on Tuesday, February 18th.

And in Michigan, police responded to reports of shots fired in a neighborhood and found a woman dead in her car.

The suspect then barricaded himself in his home for hours before he was taken into custody.

On the evening of Saturday, February 15th,

officers in West Haven, Connecticut responded to an apartment complex on Malloy Road

after multiple residents called in and reported screams coming from one of the apartment buildings.

When responding officers arrived on the scene, they found a man lying on the ground outside

of one of the buildings.

It appeared as if he had jumped out of a second floor window.

The man was later identified as 26-year-old Javon Fletcher.

As officers were checking on Javan who was on the ground unresponsive, some of the people

who had called in the disturbance pointed them up to the apartment where it was believed that he had jumped from.
