In Washington, a man was arrested and charged in the stabbing death of his stepfather last

week. In Texas, an elderly man called the police and reported that the stabbing death of his stepfather last week.

roommate.

And in Michigan, charges were announced against a man for the death of his on-again-offigant

girlfriend.

He was later arrested in New Mexico, over 1,400 miles away from the crime scene.

On Tuesday, February 11th at around 1 p.m., a man walked into the Northeast Tacoma Police Department

substation and reported that a murder occurred on the 4,500 block of Harron Drive Northeast in Washington

State. The man, later identified his 28-year-old Gavin Flowers, claimed that he was the person responsible for the alleged killing.

When Gavin first arrived at the police substation and spoke with officers,

he stated that the killing was in self-defense, and then stated the following, quote,

I want to talk to you to give you as much info to go there, and then I want a lawyer.

Gavin then told officers that there was an incident involving

a knife on the third floor bathroom of the home that he directed them to. When officers responded
