So Moon eats a movie. Here comes the bride.

Once again, not nominated in any of the important categories,

the who needs a movie video on the internet. Thankfully though,

it's a whole crop of great films, great actors, great directors that are nominated this year

and Tom Tagny, the Cairo film guy, is here to help us through them. First though,

it's kind of super hard for me to host the show and make my Bombay punch while doing my

Bollywood dance, but that's how I multitask. That's how I do. What's that?

Yeah, Jen is serving everything up. Okay, so as we did last year, we selected a menu that was kind

of inspired by one of the movies. Last year it was, was it Michael Clayton? That's what we did.

This year it was Slumdog Millionaire and so we have a whole little spread and let's see,

why don't we start with you Jennifer? What did you make? I made Bombay scalloped potatoes,

which is basically scalloped potatoes with a coconut milk, curry and a bunch of other Indian spices.

And I understand that you would not leave Queen Anne to buy any of the ingredients, so a lot of

them were purchased not so much at an Indian market, but like William Sonoma. Right, well,

Curry leaves was one thing that it needed and they don't sell those at the Metropolitan Market

on Queen Anne, so I used Curry powder from William Sonoma. Okay. And then the other, the main

ingredient was this thing called Bacoa Marsala or something like that. I looked it up on the,

I couldn't find it anywhere on Queen Anne, so I looked it up and they said it was like a

red chili vinegar paste kind of thing, so I just made my own red chili vinegar paste. Wow,

with red chili and vinegar. Yeah, I figured that simple enough. I can get those ingredients.
