In the meantime, I wanted to reintroduce you to the Trials of Frank Carson,

the story of a criminal defense attorney who was put on trial for murder.

They held me in a jail cell D-14,

and it had a camera position in front of it,

so they watched me, you know, 24-7, they never turned the lights off.

Defense attorney Frank Carson, at 61 years old, found himself where many of his clients had been,

incarcerated without bail, at the St Stanislaus County Jail.

They purposely keep it cold, you're just freezing to death. So you wear all your clothes, you wear two sets of underwear, you have one jumpsuit,uit you get that and then you try to get

out of the covers and all the

sheets and the blankets everything is short

and so you're all

in a fetal position

trying to just stay warm

I resented that

I could get I resented that.

I could get a stub of a pencil, and I was trying to write motions and stuff.

And so I was busy trying to help.

But it was all futile.

He ate alone in his cell.
