Hello my friends and welcome back to The Morning Mindset.

It's good to be with you once again.

I want to remind you about not a needy person, it's a website and I say it slowly just so

you can get it because I often find myself just blurring things together as I speak.

So it's not a needyperson.org.

It's a website we've developed that is really the home for the non-profit we run that

enables believers like you who have needs to submit those needs for consideration.

Once those needs are vetted and approved, we place them on the website for other believers

just like you who are able to be a blessing to those people in need to come on the website

and be a direct blessing to them by giving toward their needs.

Right today we are looking at Proverbs chapter 19 verse 23, it reads this way, it says

the fear of the Lord leads to life and whoever has it rests satisfied.

He will not be visited by harm.

Now this is a very intriguing and compelling verse in many ways.

Let's just start off with the obvious, the fear of the Lord.

The phrase gives a lot of people a reason to pause and raises lots of questions because

people hear fear and of the Lord and they think I don't want to be afraid of God.

I don't want to feel close to God.

I want God to be my father, my friend, my help, my refuge and time of need.

I don't want to fear Him.

I don't want to be afraid of Him.
