Well, today I felt like it's about time to let you in on a project that I've been working

on for the last few years and it's a fictional book series.

There's three books in the series.

It's called the Dragon Slayer Chronicles.

The plot is basically this.

A young boy is separated from his parents through the attack of a dragon on his village

and the story follows him and his quest to deal with his loss, the separation, the pain

and the reality of these dragons that are terrorizing the lands.

I've gotten tremendous response from those who have read the books and I would love to

All right, today we are back in Proverbs chapter 19 verse number 26 and this is how it reads.

It says he who does violence to his father and chases away his mother is a son who brings

shame and reproach.

Now the statements that we hear in this verse are very common sense statements.

If you do violence to your parents, if you chase them away, if you don't treat them

as you should, you're bringing shame and reproach on yourself, on the family period.

That makes sense.

But what Solomon is driving home here I think is a very pertinent issue for our day because
