All right, let's get to our prayer for today.

We begin by coming alongside our friend Anna Sophia.

She has written to us and is saying that she would love to have you help her to remove

anger that she feels toward herself.

I think we all have been in a place where we have done things we are shamed of or things

we wish we had not done.

And the response that we feel is varied in many ways.

So I understand how she could be feeling angry toward herself.

The Lord, we ask first off that she would be able to turn this situation to you and place it in your hands.

You tell us the truth in the scripture that if we confess our sins,

you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and even more to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

So Lord, I pray that Anna Sophia would take advantage of that and that she would receive from you.

There was forgiveness and cleansing that is needed and be able to let the pressure off of herself

for what has been done.

She's also asking us to pray for healing and clarity for her daughter Elizabeth.

So Lord, whatever the situation is and whatever that means, we ask that you would bring it about

in Jesus' name. We pray for our sister Claudette, who has discovered that a longtime friend

from middle school has passed away, and Claudette is feeling naturally very sad and very

grieved that this has happened.
