Today's talk comes from Pastor Ben Stewart.

Well, we've been in a series called Free People, and our cortex is 1st Peter, Chapter 2,

verse 16. He tells us, live as people who are free.

Not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.

Honor everyone. Love the Brotherhood. Fear God, Honor the Emperor.

And two weeks ago we talked about the fact that the believers in Jesus are meant to honor everyone.

And last week was about how we're meant to love the family of God.

And this week, our message is those two words, fear God. What

we're talking about today is the fear of God. Now I know for many of you you're

thinking, okay that's enough for me. I don't want to hear this and let me just tell you stop right there

You need this

You're gonna need this message because the reality is for some of us we need to be reminded that God is a righteous judge presiding over the universe today and that no one gets away with anything.

Justice will prevail.

And that's a sobering thought, and it's a stabilizing thought.

We are not at the mercy of the whims of evil men. We have a god of justice who will lead justly.

Some of us need the comfort and stabilizing of that. Some of us need the challenge of that.

And some of us, quite challenge of that and some of us quite frankly we just

need some clarity the reality is that for many of us you've lived under the

tyranny of a misunderstanding of what it means to fear God and you're going to get some clarity today. This

message is for you. It's going to change things. And for others of us we need to
