So I grew up so tough that it's hard for men to tell you their vulnerabilities.

Yeah.

And what was weird about when I met pun, you know, he made me drive him to see his wife so she could believe that he's with Fat Joe, right?

And he's just telling me his life story.

People weren't vulnerable at that time.

You were staying in a club and you see somebody

who's your friend. Good at, cool. What's up? Yeah. You wouldn't even talk. And so I think more like

when COVID came around and I turned on my Instagram live and my daughter said, go on live. We were

vulnerable. People got to see the type of person joe is yeah and it

wasn't just fat joe the rapper from what's love or lean back or something like that it was you know people

people couldn't believe that uh we could be vulnerable in that way and and and i like telling my story

i like being transparent yeah i tell you about my wins. I tell you about my failures.

I just want to help somebody out there that needs to hear a certain thing. And maybe,

maybe help them avoid, you know, some pain that you went through. They don't have to do it.

That's what I'm trying to do, you know. And during that COVID time, by the way,

my friend Chris Dursa, who's a real New Yorker like you, we were talking

about how there was a moment where we got the, we got dipset on one side, we got the locks on

the other, Jada Kiss murders the state of New York. Oh, yeah. And then you go viral for this

statement. And you're go viral for this statement.

And anybody who knows, you know, you drop really beautiful gems of wisdom all the time.

But you said yesterday's price is not today's.

I'm not that guy that I was then.
