really excited to bring you the next installment of this mini series talking about

opting out of the world systems. If you saw last week's episode, you know, we kind of laid the

groundwork and the foundation for what it is that we're going to be going into and

essentially just looking at all right, what is this that our culture has by and large opted into in the West and in our experience as

bringing up children, being married, just having our experience in the human, you know, on the

human journey here, and then looking at, well, where's the church now overlapping on all this and how do we how do we evaluate

very objectively what is and what is not working?

Malayna and I know what God's Word says is how things they're supposed to work.

Absolutely because I think Malaan and I are big... the burden that we've felt on our

heart now is we need to start evaluating everything even what the church is doing through the

lens of scripture which sounds you know oxymoronic but the world has such

such an influence in the in the culture that we've had even a church

by and large being overtaken and bought into a lot of these lies and a lot of this influence from the world.

And so we're simply just wanting to say, let's pause, let's take a step back, look and see

what the scriptures has to say about why we're doing certain things or

how we're doing certain things and... I always think of like Paul if Paul were to

write a letter to the American Church. I already know it would be fire and the things that he

would point out to us that what we're doing. Oh yeah yeah I mean there's there's

definitely a lot that we've gotten wrong and things that we've done well, but

we need to evaluate all of it.

So that's what we're going to be doing here.
