My friends, let's fall in love with boring days, shall we?

Fall in love with boring days. What does this mean? My friends, the majority of your life,

you're going to be living in what we can refer to as boring days. Doesn't mean they're bad,

doesn't be there any less special, any less unique. In fact, they can be the most beautiful

moments of our lives

when we pause and recognize them. Not every day you're going on vacation. Not every day is your

big day at work. Not every day is a day you get engaged. Not every day is the day that you're on

television. Whatever it is. These are gorgeous moments that punctuate

and add a lot of color and vibrancy to our lives. But generally speaking, you're probably

in somewhat of a routine, right? You wake up, have your breakfast, have your coffee, go to work,

or work from home, have some lunch, cook dinner for your family, repeat.

Right? Life isn't this firework experience all the time. It couldn't be. It wouldn't be

sustainable. So when there's no, so to speak, thrill, big thrill in your day, I used to be such

a thrill seeker thinking if I wasn't feeling high all the time or elated or feeling these pings of

euphoria or doing something really exciting and different. I felt like I was wasting my time,

wasting my day. This is completely flipped. I don't know if it's because I'm 40 now. I don't know

if it's because I've just generally slowed down or maybe I've just matured and grown up a bit.

You can romanticize your meh, eh, everyday moments when you realize, yeah, it's laundry day.

Or yeah, it's Saturday. I'm having pancakes with my family. I'm just going to chill at home and watch some TV.
