Hope you're having a good day today. It's hump day. Welcome to the hump day edition of the yard. A couple of scheduling notes. I will be

attending the Lillian Axe show in Mandeville, Louisiana at the Hineway this Saturday.

Many of you say, hey, Steve, I'd love to go to a show. We have to hang out. Well, that's where I'm going to be.

So if you're in that neck of the woods on the North Shore, or maybe you're an old Lillian Axe fan like me.

You can come out and check them out. First show of the new tour, the new album from Worm the Tomb, due out later this month,

I guess it's right, eager to see those guys.

Also, the next Saturday, August 20th, I will be at the Mississippi Book Festival in Jackson,

Mississippi.

Very honored to be involved in every bit of that.

Really, really excited for that. Now, I will be on the sports panel. That's going to be at 930.

They're in the Capitol. And then we'll have a little book signing event there at 11.

What's interesting, too too is I'm the only

Mississippi State guy. It's a four-person panel. I'm the only Mississippi State guy from what I understand.

You'll be interested to know that one of the other panelists is former Ole Miss Chancellor Robert Kayat.

So that should make for some interesting dialogue, shall we say? No, I expect the things to go

well. But if you're in the central Mississippi area and you're going to come out to the book festival,

come by and say hello again. That sports panel will be 9.30 a.m. Saturday morning with

book signing at 11. So I'm very, very honored to be a part of that. I mean, really have.

We didn't do it in 2020. I would see I went to see. When when I go? I guess it was 19.

I don't remember. This is a couple times that I've been. I've been invited to go. And so

they do the sports panel and a lot of people involved with this production.
