0:00.0	The third section of Psalms, known as the Leviticus Psalms, remind us that the God who redeemed us is still with us.
0:16.0	In fact, he is promised to never leave us or forsake us. Today we join Scott Pauli in opening God's roadmap for life.

0:34.6	Well, in today's Psalm, we come to the end of the third section of the Psalms, what is commonly
0:42.2	referred to as the Leviticus Psalms. And without a doubt, these Psalms have ushered us into the presence
0:48.7	of God, and they show us what a joy it is to live every day in his presence.
0:55.0	Psalm 89 is the last of these Leviticus Psalms, and it's a lengthy Psalm.
1:00.0	It's 52 verses long, and it is powerful.
1:03.0	I wish you had time to walk you through it verse by verse.
1:06.0	I do hope you'll do that on your own today.
1:09.0	In fact, I would encourage you to read Psalm 89 aloud, if possible.

1:27.6	First is that Psalm 89 is one of the Mashkil Psalms.
1:32.3	You remember I've told you in the past that the little word maskell,
1:36.0	which is found over several of these Psalms, means instruction.
1:38.9	The previous Psalm, Psalm 88, was a Mashkel Psalm.
