0:00.0	Truth is in short supply in our world today and it is the greatest need of the next generation.
0:16.0	Young people, all people, need God's truth. Today we join Scott Baldly in examining a key Bible passage that gives truth for youth.
0:25.6	There are many things you cannot pass on from one generation to the next.
0:39.8	For example, you can't pass on your experiences to your children.
0:43.3	Oh, you can tell them about it.
0:46.3	But you understand, they didn't live what you lived.
0:50.3	You can't pass on your emotion to the next generation. But the one thing you can pass on to the next generation is truth.
0:58.4	Because truth is timeless.
1:00.2	The reason truth is timeless is because truth is eternal.
1:03.2	It is rooted in the eternal God.
1:06.4	Psalm 100, verse 5 says, for the Lord is good.
1:09.1	His mercy is everlasting, and his truth endureth to all generations.
1:16.0	Solomon said there's no new thing under the sun. Well the truth of the matter is, God's truth is
1:21.0	the only thing that is always the same. It is unchanging. And the one thing that the next generation desperately needs at this
1:29.3	moment is they need a good dose of truth. Might I say, don't we all? There's a portion of scripture
1:36.5	that talks about truth lying fallen in the street. What a description of the world we're living in
1:42.8	today, where it seems to be there is so little
1:45.3	truth in our land and so i'd like to talk to you for just two or three episodes here about some
1:51.9	truth for youth these are bible truths that every young person needs so if you're a young person
1:58.8	that's listening certainly this is for you.
2:06.7	And if you are someone that loves young people and praise for the next generation and wants to pass on the right thing to your children and to your grandchildren, then my friend, this is for you.
