Welcome everyone. We continue our week exploring faith.

Religion and spirituality are different, yet often conflated.

Religion has a lot of good aspects but can also be divisive as well.

As I mentioned yesterday, spirituality is having your own experience, your own religious experience,

which is the basis of all religion.

So Jesus, whoever he was, Moses, whoever he was, and others, Buddha, they definitely

had an experience which was very attractive to other people.

What was that experience?

Can we have that experience?

So I would like to start by defining spirituality

as a personal experience of

experience of self-awareness,

personal experience of self-awareness,

yourself which is beyond your conditioned mind, which is transcendent, which is not in space

time, which is not in space time, which is eternal, which is timeless, but which is real, more real than any

experience you can have because all experiences in time but awareness the soul

spirit consciousness awareness if you want to call it God or Einsoff as the Caballists call it or

Nirvana as the Buddhist call it that's an experience of transcendence, and that is the basis of all spiritual experience. To go source of all existence which is pure consciousness, awareness, spirit if you

want to call it.

But a simpler word would be awareness, everybody can understand what awareness is we are aware beings without

awareness. There's no life. So awareness, life, existence, they're all the same thing.

The second aspect of a spiritual experience is what we call platonic qualities, truth, goodness, beauty, harmony, where you don't have to follow the 10 commandments but they become a natural expression of who you are. You cannot help having a higher morality.
