So today in the eater Upsell Studios we are joined by Fabian Von Housk Baltier, who is the chef proprietor along with his partner Jeremiah Stone of two restaurants that we have talked about so much on the eater upsell in the past with other guests.

Yeah, somehow like that was that was one reason we're like we kind of get him in here because like every other

episode we're talking about wild air or contra while there is secretly the third host of the

eater up cell yeah just like in every episode we talk about how much we love.

Tell us, we know because we're obsessed with Wild Air and Contra, but tell our

listeners about Wilder and Contra. Give us the like 30 second rundown on your

restaurants.

So Contra is a small tasting menu restaurant.

We do about six to seven courses for $67 right now. It's all kind of influenced with the produce we can get in New York or in the

states. Very seasonal, very simple, like subtle flavors flavors and while there is kind of our spin off of

what we wanted to so at country we have a bar and we always envisioned that to be more of a

celebration or like a wine bar where you could just go and have a couple of snacks.

It didn't work out a Contra because everyone would get the tasting menu.

So we kind of, I mean in that end that and you know also we have a pretty strong wine program or

wine director Jorge Rier is pretty good so we wanted to open a wine bar and

then while there falls in kind of like the middle of the spectrum
