Okay, Coach Kelly, ball camp right around the corner, basically here, but you look relaxed,

you look tan, maybe a couple pool parties that you enjoyed this summer, but most specifically,

the BK Body Splash.

Now, with such a unique event, how does that change the trajectory of a recruiting class? Because it proved very

successful for y'all last year. And I mean, I've been around recruiting for a long time and it's

something that just has not been seen before. Well, I think what we're trying to do is at the end

of the year, it's generally pretty hot here. And it's about getting the kids to relax and have some

fun and utilize the resources.

The URAC has got a beautiful pool.

You know, we wanted to make it fun with the games, really to make it feel like a family picnic.

And I think that that's really resonated because sometimes it's a hard sell in recruiting.

And you don't want that day to be the last day before they go into camp.

So a really a family kind of picnic day and it's worked well for us.

So part of the conversations that you have with recruits and families include a lot about

the path that the LSU football program will put them on. How is the path defined in your recruiting philosophy and how

has that maybe changed your approach from years past?

Yeah, so everybody has to make choices, right? I mean, and those choices will put you on a path

towards where you go for the rest of your life. And we believe that we provide you the resources

here at LSU to prepare you for not only success,

both in the classroom and on the playing field, but for the rest of your life.

This is not just a four-year decision, but it's a decision that you make for the rest of your life,

and this path will prepare you for the rest of your life.
