The discussion dives deep into the concept of "conflict resilience," a pivotal element of effective negotiation strategies often overlooked in traditional teachings. Bob Bordone shares his insights from years of experience, emphasizing the importance of sitting with the discomfort of differences and approaching conflict not as a threat, but as a powerful means to build stronger connections and relationships. The conversation also explores how neuroscience and personal introspection can enhance one’s ability to negotiate with empathy and assertiveness, ultimately contributing to a more productive dialogue both personally and professionally.
