The last several episodes I've talked about

backpacking.

I featured long distance trails.

Maybe a little too much attention to that,

and I'm straying away from what I really want to focus on and that is encouraging people to get out and enjoy the outdoors no matter what their skill level may be, their age or their interest. There's a lot to do and a lot not just in your backyard, but today we're going to talk about something on the other side of the world for those of us living in the Northeastern United States. My guest tonight is a customer service trip where the bachelor's degree.

She enjoys animals, nature, travel and art. Her and her husband travel to Australia where they spent three weeks and traveled four different

very unique regions of Australia. Wendy, welcome to the show.

So when you and your husband were, guess looking at vacations places you there's a lot of

choices right you could go to South America you could go to going on cruises you could go to Europe.

What was it that made you decide or focus on going to Australia?

Well I dreamed of going since I was a kid.

I fell in love with crocodile Gandhi films.

Then leader to crocodile hunter with Steve Irwin.

I admire him and his family in the zoo. I currently follow Bindie Erwin and her fabulous family on

Facebook for years. I've always been into animals, science, an amazing world of wildlife. And Australia is amazing for their

biodiversity. Everything from marsupials like kangaroos, koala bears and
