Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Evolved Emily Show. I'm your host, Emily Hayden. And today, I'm going to do something that I haven't done in a very long time. I think I've done it once or twice on the show.

0:23.4

But what I normally do before I start the show is I kind of just take a second for myself.

0:28.8

I take a deep breath and...

0:31.4

And out. I kind of center myself. And then I say a quick prayer prayer and I ask for God to be in this conversation

0:38.5

with me. And, you know, I always just say like, God, be with me in this conversation, help me to be a vessel.

0:44.7

You know, let me, you know, include you in this because I know that if he's in it, then it's really

0:49.4

going to help to create true transformation in people. And that's really what the show is about is, you know,

0:54.8

to share in a real natural and authentic way that can be heard by people in a way that causes them

1:00.4

to change action in a positive way for their life. I spoke to my dad this morning and after we had a

1:07.5

conversation at the very end, he's like, well, you know, let me pray for you. And so he prayed for me, which he always ends a conversation with a prayer.

1:14.7

And at the end, I was like, I need to call you way more often.

1:18.0

Normally we talk all the time, but I think the last like two, maybe even three weeks or so,

1:22.4

we haven't talked that often, which is very unusual for us. And so getting to talk to him and then having him pray for me

1:29.1

at the end was just like so life-giving. And so I guess I kind of just want to, I want to extend the

1:35.3

favor, I guess, to you guys, kind of like pass it forward kind of thing where if no one has prayed

1:40.3

for you recently, if it's been a long time, or if you're just in need of prayer today,

1:45.0

hopefully this can give you just a little bit of peace. So I'm going to pray not just for myself,

1:49.4

but for everyone who is actually listening right now, which I'm in my closet alone. So sometimes

1:54.2

it feels like it's just me, but I trust that there are other people listening right now.

1:58.4

So, okay. God, thank you so much that you were a good God. Thank you so

2:03.2

much that you are with us. Thank you that even though this year has been absolutely crazy and

2:08.0

people have gone through just such awakenings and life changes and things, real things like
