I am overflowing with insights to share from my recent journaling experience! I have a few immediate action items to share with you that have delivered positive impacts to my immediate world. But remember - while these are things we can reflect on and even implement in our lives it is important to also take note of the timing in our current season of life. And please come say hello at the Toxic Angel Bikini booth at the 2020 LA Fit Expo on Saturday, January 25!

0:00.0 | Hello, everyone, and welcome to the evolve with Emily Show. I'm your host, Emily Hayden. And in today's |
0:19.0 | episode, I am coming at you from a little office in WeWork. WeWork is a |
0:24.5 | co-working space. And it's essentially just a space that you can come and pay rent to and be a part of an office |
0:30.5 | experience. For me, my environment is huge. And as you guys know, I spent a lot of my time alone. |
0:37.2 | So now that I come into an office every |
0:39.0 | single day, I have some social skills back. No, but really, sometimes I kind of feel like I'm losing |
0:44.2 | social skills if I'm not around humans for a while. So it's nice. I'm around other humans. |
0:49.8 | They're all, you know, working hard grinding and it just feels good to be in that type of environment |
0:53.6 | because it really just, it pushes me to be better. You know, if you're alone, then you have |
0:58.6 | nothing influencing you. And if you're in a bad environment, then you might have just some |
1:03.3 | bad things you have to deal with. So I think if you're, whether you're alone or you're in a negative |
1:07.5 | environment, you should really seek to create a better environment for yourself. And maybe you're in a negative environment, you should really seek to create a better environment for yourself. |
1:11.8 | And maybe you're in a current situation where you're in a work environment that is not really |
1:15.7 | positive. Maybe it starts with you being that positive change in that work environment. |
1:20.7 | There are clients that I have spoken with before and they were like, well, I love my job, |
1:25.3 | but the environment is bad. You know, everyone just gossips the |
1:28.5 | whole time. They talk about things that are just negative. They bond over negativity like crazy. |
1:33.9 | And it's just a really negative environment, but I can't leave or I don't want to leave or, you know, |
1:39.3 | whatever it is. So then my advice to them is always just be the change that you want to see and be the person that decides to talk about, you know, positive things and to turn it around and say, yeah, but have you thought about it like this? Or, you know, just completely changes the conversation into something positive or productive. And maybe they're used to talking bad about other people and maybe you be the person that comes in and encourages people |
2:01.7 | in front of everybody else, you know, or kind of closed doors too. You know, just be that positive |
2:06.7 | light, be that person that is starting the positive movement wherever you're at. So environment |
2:13.0 | is huge. My environment got a total up level and I'm loving it. Guys, I'm happier than I've been in a long |
