Summary

Welcome to 2020! After taking a brief break during the 2019 holiday season, I am back and ready to thrive with you here in 2020. I have several overarching lessons from the previous year that, after significant reflection, have shown me some invaluable gifts that I want to pass on to you. Good, bad, and ugly - last year taught me so much and I could not be more grateful for the clarity that has been given to me both personally and professionally.

so much for allowing me to have a little bit of a break at the end of 2019. I needed some time off

0:29.3

just to kind of, you know, pour back into myself. I was feeling less creative and, you know, just I was a little,

0:35.2

I was tired. It was a long year. It was a hard year and I was tired. I needed, I needed a break to kind of, you know, pour back into my cup, which I definitely did. The holiday season was incredible. I spent it on the East Coast and I really just think that Christmas on the East Coast is so magical and so fun. And I had a great time. So I hope that you guys had

0:55.9

an amazing holiday season and I hope that you're coming into 2020 with some new perspective.

1:01.7

And if you aren't, then maybe you just need to take some time to reflect on this last year for you

1:06.4

and really look at everything that you went through and try to understand, you know, now with a new

1:11.9

perspective, what those things were teaching you, what those hard moments meant, what the good

1:17.2

moments were for, and, you know, what allowed you to get to those good moments. One of my favorite

1:22.5

things, you guys, is just kind of like looking back and breaking things down to really understand,

1:28.5

okay, you know, what was going on in this season down to really understand, okay, you know,

1:32.5

what was going on in this season of my life? What was, you know, God, what was life? What was universe trying to teach me at this point in my life? And when in moments of being really successful,

1:37.5

I also like to look at those because I'm like, okay, what led me to that? What life decisions

1:43.3

did I take in order to get to that success? So in this episode,

1:48.0

I want to share with you guys some of my biggest takeaways from 2019. I want to share a little

1:53.8

bit about my experiences, a lot a bit about what I learned. And, you know, my biggest takeaways from it,

1:59.9

what I'm proud of, and also what I'm

2:01.9

carrying into 2020. I think there's a lesson here for everybody. So I want to start back with,

2:09.4

you know, back with January 2019. And I broke things down month by month. And what I want to do is,

2:15.6

rather than taking you month by month,

2:23.3

play by play of my entire life over the last year, I just want to give you the overarching things that I dealt with because I think, one, a lot of people are going to be surprised at all the things
