Today's podcast guest is somebody that seemingly really came out of nowhere in the last six months

to absolutely drop it like it's hot in several races in a row.

Taylor Nib came on the scene very, very abruptly.

Now, she's been in triathlon for a really long time, going back 10 years now, but she's really exploded

in the past six months or so with a couple of wins at ITU races, a second place finish at

Half Iron Man Boulder in her very first Half Iron Man distance race, and then she capped it all

off with a dominating performance in the Collins Cup

against none other than Daniel O'Reif and Teresa Adam. Now, admittedly, as I say to her,

I really wasn't expecting Taylor to do this. I mean, who's ever going to bet against

Daniel O'Reif? But when I ended picking, in my pre-race predictions,

Daniela Reef to win, I had a few people actually message me and say, hey, you should really

watch Taylor Nib. I think she's going to turn a lot of heads. And holy smokes, did she ever.

She didn't just win against Daniel Arif. She beat her by over seven minutes. Now, of course,

Daniel Arif was sick on the day, but it's still Daniel Arif. It's still Teresa Adam,

the one and two ranked athletes in the PTO rankings. And when you start looking at Taylor's

performances over the past six months or so, you can see a huge

amount of talent, really, really talented in the swim, incredibly talented on the bike, and then

her run is still developing. She's still extremely young and able to get a lot faster.

So I want to reach out to Taylor to get to nowhere because I'm really just intrigued.

knows her through connections in Boulder, because I really think that she is a very balanced
