I have been saying this for years and it feels particularly timely now as I see a lot of people

reinventing, some people are pivoting, some people are starting afresh in completely different life

areas doing different things. I'm certainly seeing it a lot in business. And I want to share this

with you now because when I first started teaching the side hustle, my side hustle programs

back in the day when I was newer to this work, I would always tell people

you are not starting at zero. If you've been an attorney, if you've ran a hair salon, if you've

worked in real estate, you're not starting from scratch. You're starting in your side hustle

with all of this experience, this work experience, money experience, business experience,

you being a professional by showing up everyday experience, you are not starting at nothing,

you're not starting over, you're starting with a certain standard already in place and you're

starting as an informed person. Okay. So think about that for a

moment. Maybe you're in the business world, for example, you're launching something new. And maybe it's

something that is a test. It's very different to what you've done before. No matter what happens,

you're taking all of the experience that you've already garnered and putting it into this new

project. This means that you're not brand new. You're not clueless. You're not walking around,

shaking your head saying, you know, I don't get anything. Of course you do.

You've arrived at this point today with everything that you've learned.

Nothing has left you.

The same is true for really anything else in your life.

Just say, for example, we've gotten divorced.

I was divorced in my 20s.
