What's going on, guys? Welcome back to Dreamers, Got Fendish Podcast, a radio show. Coming to you real quick here with just a message I want to touch on, kind of playing off of, you know, my TGIM theme or motto, you know, the thank God it's Monday to appreciate every single day. This won't take me very long, but I want you guys just to listen to this wherever you're at. If you're at the airport, walking your dog, working out, you know, just

training, maybe traveling over the holidays, whatever it may be. Ask yourself this. I think oftentimes

0:26.4

in life we don't ask ourselves the right questions or we don't question enough or we're not

0:30.1

mindful in the moment. And one thing I like to do is every single morning, wake up and just be

0:34.8

mindful just for the gift of honestly just waking up of what that is.

0:40.4

Regardless of what the day is going to bring, we never know.

0:43.1

But just having some gratitude in that very initial moment before your feet even hit the floor.

0:48.3

At the beginning of every single day, what I'd like to do is ask myself, you know,

0:51.5

how can I make today be a day I wish I could relive,

0:55.8

you know, over and over and over again years from now multiple times? And only you guys can answer

1:01.0

that. But ask yourself the question. I mean, every single day when you wake up. And if you can't

1:05.3

get in the habit of doing every day, pick a day where you know you got some shit going on or maybe

1:09.7

some stuff is going to come up or you have like one or two things.

1:12.3

Maybe you're dreading at work or with friends or family. There's a conversation you have to have a situation you're going to encounter or you have to deal with with your kids or whatever it is.

1:20.4

But ask yourself, how can I make this day, this 86,400 seconds? How can I make this something that I would wish I could relive again

1:29.5

over and over years from now? And on the very, very same note, I do the same thing before I go to

1:37.6

sleep. I'm just mindful for a minute. And again, I like to decompress at night. I don't

1:41.8

admittedly watch a lot of TV or waste time doing things like that. But typically before I go to sleep, I turn the office on because I've seen it 8,000 times. And it just puts me in a good mood. I smile. It's something I can just, it's brainless for me. I don't have to pay attention to it and I can fall asleep to it. But what I ask myself, before I even get into that kind of decompression state is I take

2:02.1

another minute. Again, we call these mandatory minutes just to be mindful of my entire day

2:07.3

of what I did. And I just take a kind of, you know, a minute or two minutes just to be mindful.

2:12.9

Like, I don't want to say like a Zen moment. It's whatever you guys want to call it, whether it's

2:16.6

meditation or just self-questioning or self-reflection, I guess is how I look at it. And I take a minute
