Today's 10-minute walk is helping you stay fitness consistent, so let's go for a walk.

Probably you can tell already this sounds a little different. Number one, I'm not walking.

Number two, I'm not outside. I am in a hotel room. I'm attending a podcast convention.

It was, if you've heard walking his fitness for a while

and you've heard the backstory of the podcast, it was at this convention six years ago, my,

six years ago that the idea for this podcast was birthed. And I've not been back to this convention since then.

And it actually took me three years from the time I thought, hey, I could do a 10-minute

daily walking podcast to actually do the daily 10-minute walking podcast.

But I'm excited going to be at this convention for the next several days, and it is being held in National Harbor, which is on the banks of the Potomac River in Maryland, just down the river from Washington, D.C., one of my favorite places to visit, one of my favorite places to walk.

And so we will be in National Harbor for a few days and then in Washington, D.C.

for the rest of the week.

And so I'm excited about that and I hope you'll enjoy that.

But this morning, we're going to do a coffee walk. Have you

ever heard of a coffee walk? Apparently it's a thing. I didn't know. So we're going to do a coffee

walk and I'm going to leave the hotel room now. Wait a minute. Let me make sure I have my key.

I do. And it is early in the

morning so I'm going to use my inside voice as I walk through the hotel heading towards

the elevators and I really I really think that my hotel room is the furthest from the elevators.

This is a big hotel because it's not just a hotel, it's also a convention center.

And so this is where the podcast convention is being held.

All right, so I'm at the elevators and my ride has arrived.

And into the elevator, we're going to go down to the lobby.
